Data used by the utility

Backup archives can contain inventory and order records, application source, configuration, and calibration data. Order records may contain customer information already stored in the owner's BrickVault database. Archive contents are encrypted before transfer to Google Drive. Verification records can contain archive names, timestamps, sizes, checksums, and restore results.

To copy and verify backups, the utility accesses backup files and their metadata in the configured Google Drive folder. It stores Google OAuth credentials and tokens on systems controlled by the owner so scheduled backups can run without signing in each time.

Purpose and scope of access

Google Drive access is used for backup upload, verification, and recovery. The requested Drive scope permits broader access than the configured folder; the application configuration directs backup operations to the folder designated by the owner.

Google user data is not used for advertising, sold, or used to train artificial intelligence models. BrickVault Backups' use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Storage and service providers

The owner's selected storage systems hold encrypted backup copies and verification records. Google processes data stored in Google Drive under its own policies. Other backup copies may be held on the owner's local server and Microsoft OneDrive. Cloudflare hosts this informational website; backup archives and OAuth credentials are not served by this website.

Access to credentials and recovery keys is restricted on the owner's systems. The recovery key is maintained separately from the cloud backup archives.

Retention, deletion, and revocation

The owner controls backup retention and deletion. Removing a file from one backup destination does not remove copies at other destinations.

The owner can revoke the utility's access through Google Account connections. Revoking authorization prevents further authorized Drive operations; it does not delete existing backup files. Existing copies can be removed from each storage destination by the owner.

Website visits

This static website contains no account forms, advertising, or application analytics scripts. Its hosting provider may process request information, such as IP addresses and browser information, to deliver and secure the site. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
