BrickVault Backups is a personal utility operated by Abrian Baker to back up the database and configuration of BrickVault, a LEGO inventory management application.
What it does
The utility creates encrypted recovery archives and copies them to storage selected by the owner. Google Drive is used as an offsite destination for encrypted archives and backup verification records.
How Google Drive is used
The owner authorizes Drive access through Google sign-in. The backup utility uses rclone to upload archives, inspect backup metadata, and verify or retrieve backup copies in the configured backup folder.
Google's requested Drive permission covers the account's files. The utility is configured to operate within the owner's designated backup folder. This folder configuration does not narrow the permission granted by Google.
Who it is for
This utility is for the owner's personal use. This website provides information about the utility; it does not offer public accounts, a backup download portal, or access to the BrickVault application.
